WZTV is a Nashville, TN based television station and a FOX affiliate owned and operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group. Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is one of the largest and most diversified television broadcasting companies in the country today. Sinclair owns and operates, programs or provides sales services to 163 television stations in 77 markets. Sinclair’s television group reaches approximately 38.7% of US television households and includes FOX, ABC, MyTV, CW, CBS, NBC, and Univision.

Looking to be an innovator in the industry, FOX 17 news was looking to create a concave curved LED display for a more functional studio and give more freedom to use the set for multiple segments through out the broadcast. The space was in a compact header which needed a low profile and lightweight product due to limitations of set pieces in the studio.
