PIXELFLEX HELPS SOUTHSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH LEVERAGE LED
SCREENS TO ENHANCE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE
EFp Series Paired with FlexTour 3.9 Created Wow Factor from Southside’s Parking Lot to Auditorium
Nashville, TN (December 1, 2021)– In Warner Robbins, Georgia, Southside Baptist Church comes together every Sunday to reach more than 2,100 people through inspirational music and a powerful worship message. With the integration of PixelFLEX LED technologies, Southside Church delivers a service that still feels up close and personal, regardless of the large auditorium setting.
As a well-established church and existing PixelFLEX customer, Southside has been modernizing its visual technology over the last decade. The relationship began in 2017 when PixelFLEX installed its FlexTour 3.9, center screen LED panel, to replace the TV array.
“To say our experience with PixelFLEX then was ideal is an understatement,” said Chris Clark, Director of Media at Southside Baptist Church. “We loved the relationship that had formed then, and knew we would go back to PixelFLEX when our next upgrade was needed.”
The time to replace the outdated screen projectors for Southside Church came right before 2021 Easter Services. With a short window of time to facilitate an upgrade, Southside placed a call to PixelFLEX to help.
“From the moment our LED wall was placed at Southside, it overpowered the side screen projectors in terms of brightness and contrast,” said Jon Lewis, Director of Sales at PixelFLEX. “Chris immediately knew this too, but it needed to be the right timing, and we made sure he knew we would be here to help. The time happened to be a small window leading up to a major holiday weekend.”
The newly launched PixelFLEX EFp Series provided timely access to a solution. Jon and his team at PixelFLEX were able to meet Southside’s deadline and get them into a 2.9mm resolution for less per panel than they paid for the 3.9mm in 2017.
“Ultimately, the end goal for our team is the experience– to present the gospel as clearly as you can and that’s what PixelFLEX helped us to do, ” said Chris Clark. The visual technology allows their team to enhance the worship experience while making it easy to operate.
